TaxValues™ Collector is Point Software, Inc.’s municipal revenue management system for the comprehensive administration of real estate, personal property, motor vehicle, supplemental and district commitments. This application is engineered with a full set of functions to provide the efficiency, accuracy and security demanded of the tax collector’s office.

Automation

Automation is key to the design of TaxValues™ Collector. The software connects offices via electronic data transfer utilities for abatements and exemptions, tax title accounts, and even deputy payments for collectors using Point’s Deputy Services. Other quick payment posting options include bar code scanning, online payment exchange, and tax service and lockbox import. TaxValues™ Collector also features credit balance rollover tools, a municipal lien certificate (MLC) creator, and an excise writeoff zeroing utility.

Balancing Tools

Balancing issues can be time consuming to resolve. For that reason, a number of tools are built into the system to help you prevent balancing issues from happening in the first place and to detect them if they do occur. These include a payment date locking utility, the Unbalanced Payment Auditor, and an extensive library of reports that are customizable to the range of information and level of detail you require.

Information Recall

It’s simple to recall the information you need with the TaxValues™ Collector system. An integrated search tool enables you to quickly locate accounts and bills using a variety of identifiers, including owner, parcel ID, location and bill number. Account flags and standardized comments and notations allow for the easy insertion of important details for both screen lookups and reporting.
