TaxValues™ CitizenLink™
Enhance the accessibility of the assessor’s office.
TaxValues™ CitizenLink™ allows property owners to view their property record cards, which are displayed in a familiar web page format. CitizenLink™ retrieves this information from the municipal real estate database managed by TaxValues™ Assessor. All of this is achieved through secure Internet connections, protecting the Board of Assessors’ data and the public’s privacy.
Connectivity via Desktop or Kiosk
Connectivity to CitizenLink™ can be established through a couple different methods. The most convenient way to accomplish this, of course, is via a home computer. Taxpayers can visit the town’s website at any time, without being restricted to the operating hours of the assessor’s office.
Assessors who wish to provide for residents who do not have home Internet access can opt to install web kiosks throughout their municipality. These kiosks would be placed in public buildings, such as city halls, libraries and community centers.
Automated Adobe® PDF Posting
Providing printer-friendly versions of the property record cards is an effortless task when TaxValues™ ReportNET™ is used in conjunction with CitizenLink™. ReportNET™ includes a batch utility that enables the municipality to export all property record cards in the system as Adobe® PDF files. Once generated, the PDFs are simply placed on the web server in a designated folder. CitizenLink™ automatically links the PDFs to the appropriate accounts using its built-in indexing function.
