TaxValues™ Deputy Services
This service offered by Point Software extends the tax collector’s office by utilizing Point Software as a collection agency. Using boundaries established by Massachusetts General Laws, Point Software produces all notifications in pursuing delinquent motor vehicle excise accounts as directed by the collector. Exclusive to Point Deputy clients is the ability to invoke electronic warrant transfers from the collector’s database to the Point Deputy Center, and then receipt electronic payments made to the Deputy without having to repost these entries. When combined with TaxValues™ Abatement Exemptions, Point’s Deputy Services provide a seamless virtual process for efficient settlement and control of tax accounts. Point also provides clients with printing, folding stuffing, mailing, and lockbox services.
