The DocumentLink™ electronic document management system (EDMS) is an essential communication tool for all communities. By connecting departments through DocumentLink™, jurisdictions like yours are able to conduct a fully electronic review and acceptance process of an application or other municipal document, from start to finish.
This process is enhanced by the ability for any user participating in the process to include comments. As the document travels through the workflow, reviewers can attach comments to make others aware of pertinent details such as decisions and actions that occurred.
In addition, the timestamp and user information are stored and displayed with each comment, enabling DocumentLink™ to maintain a permanent log of events associated with the document’s handling.
