Dear Point Software:

I wanted to pass on to you the praise I’ve been getting about using your DocumentLink software from our City Counselors and from members of the public. I recently conducted a live presentation of DocumentLink before our City Council in order to demonstrate the software program that our inspectors are using in the field to conduct their inspections. This meeting was also broadcast on Chelsea’s cable television station, allowing Chelsea’s residents to see it as well.

The presentation went smoothly. I demonstrated how the inspectors utilize their respective online applications, the many benefits of the program and the ease of its use. The following day I encountered some residents who had seen the broadcast tell me how impressed they were with the software your team created. Our ability to have electronic connectivity using tablet and laptop computers while in the field has proven to be very powerful.

My department also has been very pleased with DocumentLink. Using an electronic form process, we are now able to create a Certificate of Habitability in the field for complying with the State Sanitary Code, freeing up time for both our office and field staff. Our housing inspector gained the ability to both process the initial inspection report and set a reinspection date that can be readily seen in the workflow center. This results in a benefit to the public and reflects well on our department as the taxpayers see this new technology.
